If you need a virtual card in the UAE for paying UAE websites and apps online, Vizovcc offers the UAE Reloadable Card. You buy it from your account balance, which you top up with crypto. The card number, expiry date and CVV appear in your dashboard once the card is ready, and you enter them at checkout like any other card.
This is a prepaid card, not a credit card. Unlike a bank-issued virtual credit card in the UAE, it has no credit line and no bill to repay later: you spend only the balance on the card. Each card has a fixed price. Part of it is our card issue charge, and the rest is loaded onto the card as balance for your online spending.
Who needs a virtual card in the UAE
The card suits anyone who wants a separate card for UAE online payments. Typical buyers include:
- Visitors and short-term travellers who want to book, order or pay through UAE websites and apps during a trip without using their home bank card.
- Residents who prefer to keep online shopping, delivery orders and app payments on a separate prepaid balance.
- Freelancers and remote workers who hold part of their savings in crypto and want to spend some of it on UAE services.
- Careful shoppers who would rather not share their main bank card with an unfamiliar online shop.
If you were looking for a virtual Visa card for the UAE, note that Vizovcc also sells prepaid Visa, Mastercard and American Express virtual cards. Check each card page for its details before you decide which one fits your purchase.
How to buy and use your UAE online payment card
- Create an account. Sign up on Vizovcc. Your dashboard is where your balance, cards and card details are kept.
- Add balance with crypto. Make a deposit in Bitcoin, USDT or another supported coin. The amount is added to your account balance once the deposit is confirmed.
- Buy the card. Open the UAE Reloadable Card page and buy it from your balance. The price is fixed per card: our issue charge comes out of it and the rest becomes the card's spending balance.
- Get your card details. The number, expiry date and CVV show up in your dashboard when the card is ready. Some cards are ready right away, while others are prepared by our team after purchase.
- Pay online. Enter the details at checkout on the UAE website or app, the same way you would enter any card.
- Manage the card. Freeze the card from your dashboard when you are not using it, and unfreeze it when you need it again.
Tips for paying UAE websites and apps
- Check the balance before checkout. Make sure the card balance covers the full order, including delivery charges, service fees and any tip. A payment above the balance is likely to be declined.
- Save the card once, correctly. If an app keeps your card for later orders, check every digit of the number, expiry date and CVV when you first add it, so future orders do not fail.
- Leave a little extra balance. Some apps place a small temporary hold when you add a new card, to check that it works. Keeping some spare balance helps that check pass.
- Know where prepaid cards struggle. Any platform can decline a prepaid card. Hotel deposits, car rentals and some recurring subscriptions are common places where prepaid cards are refused, so check the merchant's payment rules first.
- Pause the card after a trip. When you leave the UAE or stop ordering for a while, freeze the card in your dashboard and unfreeze it the next time you need it.
- Planning a trip. If you are comparing cards for travel as well as online payments, read our full guide to travel cards for the UAE before you choose.
What to do if a payment is declined
When a UAE website or app refuses the card, the cause is often a detail you can check yourself:
- Make sure the card is not frozen in your dashboard.
- Check that the balance covers the full amount, including fees and any temporary hold.
- Re-enter the card number, expiry date and CVV exactly as they appear in your dashboard.
- Wait a little before trying again instead of retrying many times in a row, as repeated attempts can trigger the merchant's own fraud checks.
Still declined? Start a live chat on the site, or message us on WhatsApp, Telegram or email from our Contact page, and share the UAE website or app name, the order total and the approximate time of the attempt, so our team can check the card's side of the transaction. Some platforms refuse prepaid cards outright, and for those you will need another payment method.
